A lot of carbs -> Rapid digestion -> A lot of sugar being released -> Body overwhelmed -> Leading to an overactive amygdala

All logic, I didn't google shit so prolly wrong.

hmmm did not help :feelswah:
Ok, Imma feynman-max.

You eat a lot of food, meaning that your body will have to digest A LOT of food at once. This obviously isn't good for the body, so it will send out stress hormones to basically tell you, "Don't eat so much at once again!" A byproduct of stress hormones being released is the hyperfunction of the amygdala. Another byproduct of stress hormones being released is the imbalance of brain chemicals (serotonin, GABA, dopamine). This will worsen your anxiety.

Feeling anxious when very full can happen because digestion changes your heart rate, breathing, and blood sugar, which may trigger anxiety symptoms. (Atleast if u ask chatgpt)

Solution please

Cute pepe

I give story

Im 11-12 i just got finished eating
Girl from my school dm me on discord
Me overthinking that she was flirting with me or not. I get super anxious and a anxiety attack then i vomited

Now from that moment on everytime i eat past 11 am - 1pm depending where i am. I overthink on everything and get anxiety attack.

Example last year 2024 December 12th.

I was all alone eating lunch, nothing wrong with my stomach or anything. Was eating and chilling then a girl that i kinda liked walked in with her friend (its guy) then out of nowhere my stomach just decided to flip me off and hurt and i started to overthink and breath more heavily.

Idk why but it just happened.

So basically i cant even talk to a girl without getting an anxiety because i overthink that they’ll have a crush on me or that they like me not in a plutonic way.

It’s been like this ever since i was 12 and its seriously ruined my life. Because i have malnourished myself, and j don’t interact and hang out with my family anymore.

okay i get it now. this has little to do with what or when you eat, it's an anxiety response. feeling anxiety in ur gastrointestinal system isn't uncommon. lots of people poop, have no appetite, get an increased appetite, stomach aches or even involuntary gagging when they're stressed. i think it's a good idea to talk about it with someone because it seems like u are dealing with a lot of anxiety in general and i wouldn't want it to become emetophobia. do u have friends or family members that would be understanding when u talk to them?

the solution doesn't lie in changing ur eating habits. u just gotta find ways to manage ur anxiety
