Tbh it's a kinda feminine thing to do.
It's part of the "if I can't beat them I'll just join them" way of thinking.
Basically you can't overthrow your enemies you just gonna become like them.
And guess what? Throughout most of human history women had to resort to this strategy. If they couldn't beat them just join them. Winners took all during a raid conquest etc etc so the women had to join them fully submit to then if they wanted to be spared
Women and cuckish men too.
So it kinda makes sense why so many men despise the idea of looksmaxig. You're basically torturing yourself for a piece of validation from the same people who ostracised you in the first place.
