i got 4 tooth extractions at 16, can i still expand?

so my normie ass self got 4 extractions at 16 and idk how bad my palate is now (it's enough to mew and I haven't had any breathing problems) but my smile is not as wide as it could've been. Can I still expand or is dls the only real solution? I am 18 and 7 months old rn
