I disagree. If the penis has a slight curve then it would look shorter from a first person's point of than it does the side, but length is length. It's calculated along its outline, not by the shorters distance from its 2 endpoints. Not explaining it perfectly, but I think you understand what I'm saying. Geometry and maths don't lie.
