How did u manage the thing before all the research you did then without the immunosuppressive meds? Also why are they bad, should i stop them?

I tried a lot of things and did a few years of research, trial and error. I just sucked it up because I knew I didn't want to rely on other people and clueless medical doctors for the rest of my life. Before I got my answers, I suffered all the symptoms, flares and discomfort associated with IBD myself but I never settled for a short term fix that would eventually stop working or leave me worse off than before. From the beginning, I wanted real answers and fix it for good
