I got cucked by my friend in a “joking” way in front of my crush

So basically blah blah water water we were walking out of your ap math class and I was bumping into my hltb chubby snowbunny crush who has been showing me high IOIs for awhile now since like late January/feburary and she got out of a relationship same time coincidentally. She seems pretty loyal and all so I’ve been trying to figure out a way to make a move. I told my best friend who’s also friends with her that I like her randomly one night cause I thought he would help, and he just said he doesn’t care and “that’s all you” anyways, he is now dating a girl from that same friend group so I thought it would be the perfect way to set up a possible double date with my crush and his gf apart of the same friend group. So I’m talking to him walking ik between them and usually I jsut walk behind them and watch my friend and her talk but this time I wanted to make a move on her, so after saying a few jokes, it goes quiet for a sllight few seconds and then he says “bro go go talk to your friend bro” I just stand there awkwardly with my high inhib self unsure what tf to do in this odd situation and the girl I like is still right near me giving g me an odd half smile look as well just not doing anything and then they just keep walking forward and I sit there and walk my ass to class confused and feeling cucked as hell. Idk why my best “bud” did all that while saying he doesn’t care if I go for her and “that’s all yours bro.” Acting like he’s her brother or smth gl that moment was pure ropefuel but I’m too scared to confront about how I really feel about her and how I felt uncomfortable and really have a big crush on her, not just a small one slight one like I told him late at night.
TL;DR: I got cucked by my best friend when trying to talk to a hltb chubby white girl with htb potential who has been showing me iois for while and I don’t even know why he stopped me cause he jus started dating some other girl in her friend group and he is deeply in love with her. Should I try to talk to him about it or just leave it alone and accept the fact I probably won’t ever have a good chance to talk to my crush cause even today, she was glancing at me a lot and staring while I was sitting and trying to focus on notes. She also instantly like not even a few seconds followed me back on insta with a private smaller account when I barely talked to her. Also after this awkward interaction and slight cuck, they brought me up, their friend group did in another class after the incident and a girl I had a failed talking stage with brought up smth that happened 2 years ago and told her friend who brought it up as well, I have no idea how my crush felt or what she said but now I’m thinking she thinks I’m weird too due to female influence hive mind hopefully she’s smart enough to see past a small weird thing I did like calling her friend late at night as a 15 year old boy jfl at my inexperienced khhv self. My best friend came in and defended” me saying I’m not like that guy anymore and it was only a small mistake but idk thoughts?? Need some help a grey
