I was walking back home from the gym with my earphones on, blasting loud music, when I was crossing the road, an old nigga in his mid-60s on a thuk-thuk tried to take a left turn and ended up crashing into my right leg.
He did apply the brakes at the last moment, which reduced the impact significantly, but the bike still hit me hard enough for me to lose my balance and fall to the ground. While I was on the ground, I looked back to understand what had just happened, that’s when I saw him making an expression that said, “wtf u doin?”
In a situation like this, most people would get up and say something, either apologizing or confronting the rider. BUT ME BEING ND AND HIGH INHIB, I JUST GOT UP WITH A COMPLETE STRAIGHT FACE AND CONTINUED WALKING FORWARD WITHOUT SAYING A WORD OR EVEN LOOKING BACK AT HIM AGAIN
