I got humiliated in front of my friend group very badly (STORYTIME)

We went to one of our friend’s house and we were pretty drunk. The mother was there aswell and she was drunk too. They had 3 small dogs. When we went inside the dogs came to us in the entryway. The entryway was quite small and I was scared that I and the others would accidentally stumble drunkenly over one of the dogs and kill them. I said to the mother that maybe she should take the dogs upstairs for the time we took our shoes off before we get inside the house. She got really offended and babied and babysat me, ridiculed me, said that i was raise poorly by my mother etc etc basically berated me. I’m 19 btw and I repeatedly asked her if we could talk it out like adults. The worst part was that her daughter (one the friends from our friendgroup) was there and she said that her dogs were the most important to her like wtf?! Also everyone of my friends luckily was on my side in this thing. Most foids who own small dogs are fucking psychotic. I know this is dnr fuel but i had to get this off my chest.
