And somehow I'm still not a millionaire.

I had deals for Solana, Polkadot, ICP etc all went 100x. But usually I was a bearish dumbfuck and sold at something like 3x. 2018 bear market fucked me over otherwise I would've been retired.

I had another offer at $2 for SOL in 2018 and I said no because I thought it was too high....

I'd never invest in crypto, but that's why you buy and hold. Your goal should be never to sell, unless you buy something better.

Fuck all. Fuck the entire market. I hope shit crashes to 0. Fuck crypto!!! 😑😑😑

That's dum AF. But fr altcoins are hit and miss. I look at the top 100 now and it's a complete different picture from 2017/2018. Most coins I knew from that period are like -99% from ATH.

Are you dumb? There's literally bull market around the corner and you're saying fuck crypto? Jfl. Buy now or regret later. I'm already up big time.

I remember bitcoin from 2013 when it hit 1k for the first time. I still did fuck all. That shit has higher market cap than most companies. Ahead of some FAANGS rn. It's almost 1/50th of the US dollar and 1/13th of gold. That's fucking dumb AF.

It's not dumb at all. You're playing a rigged game against massive whales who know exactly which strings to pull when they want to cause a panic sale and buy in themselves. The only strategy is to never sell unless you have a new, significantly better investment in sights. And even then you probably shouldn't sell, I've only lost money myself that way.

It's actually been studied that the best investors are dead people, because they never sell. Now of course if you need to buy a house or are about to go homeless, that's a different story lol

Don't trust these so called professionals on YouTube, Discord, or Telegram. They only can claimthey almost invested, or they did. But of course they are lying. They always claim this when it is ended, when all the highs became lows or the lows became highs, never in between. Tell them to show results, not excuses.

Nope. I'm just following where the big money is going. Buying crypto nowadays is basically like buying shares in a tech company. In this case, you're investing in Web3 and blockchain tech.

Whales? Whales aren't smart. They can be dumb. I was literally a whale on some altcoons and could crash the price of I wanted. I'm fact sometimes Id spread FUD just so I could get in low.

Anyway I won't say it a lot. Just study history. These things never end well. 99% of internet and tech companies failed in the tech bubble in the 90s. Everyone talks about 'muh amazon' but that was one of tens of thousands of horses in the races. You get out during a bubble not "HODL".

Bruh if you want to invest in "tech" actually look at world revolutionising tech, not something overplayed time and time again like Blockchain
Look at synthetic biology, geothermal energy, nuclear fusion, quantum computing - ironically that would defeat the entire crypto market to zero if China or US reached a million qubit computer and no one was able to create post-quantum resistant architecture.

I never listened to these people anyway. Back in 2017 a lot of communities formed underground and got into deals and shared knowledge on the latest in the space. That guy in OP was just organiser of a pooling group. I made multiple X's because he had contacts with venture capitalists and insiders, who would buy coins in at seed round. He never scammed me (although he could've).

Most valuable company in the tech bubble was Microsoft. Today? Microsoft, only that it's price has 10-15x'd in these little over 20 years.
Anyway that's a bit of a cherrypick, but you're pretty safe if you diversify in the most held bluechips.

There are various ways to measure the amount of wealth that was annihilated when the bubble burst. As early as November 2000, CNNFN.com pegged the losses at $1.7 trillion. But that would count only public companies. Beyond them, it’s estimated that 7,000 to 10,000 new online enterprises were launched in the late 1990s, and by mid-2003, around 4,800 of those had either been sold or gone under. Trillions of dollars in wealth vanished almost overnight.

That's just gone under. Not recovered. Look at history of IBM, which was like Tesla during the 90s.

Btw in crypto we've already had a wave of failed projects. That's why I mentioned top 100s looks different today from 2018. Many projects have already failed. When I joined crypto.there was only like 300 altcoins - and only top 100 were serious. Now there is fucking tens of thousands. You are coping if you think they're all "gonna make it". 99.9% will fail.

Just buy Microsoft stock and hold it bro. You're not cut out to make big gainzzz.

Even if you bought Microsoft at ATH during 90s it would've just 20x today. A whole 25 years later...

You can't compare a stock like Microsoft with crypto. It's better to compare penny stocks and SPACs during the 2020s (nearly all are -90% or more now) after going multiple X's in short timeframe.

yes alts for pump and dump, i got into the brave browser coin, chain link, and many others that grew enormously. i don't think i've lost a single cent on crypto. but now i concentrate on holding bitcoin only. less things to focus on because i have too much going on irl like my gigger job and scheduling escort visits

Yeah ngl I'm like 80% only in bitcoin. The rest in dodgy altcoins, but I'm too aloof from market to consider betting on alts every again. The reason I could've got in alts at ultra low prices was because I had connections in 2018. I've lost them now...

BTC is the only "safest" option. Not even eth is safe, not because I remember it go from $1400 to $80 in a year, but because these other companies will swallow it up if it didn't have mass adoption. It should lose supremacy as alt king sooner or later.

Tech bubbles losses were 1.7 trillion? That's like half of what Microsoft or Apple are worth today. Just diversify and don't buy into the 1 million market cap ''next big thing''. In fact you can make money even with guessing which way the market is going to go. There's such ETF funds as TQQQ and SQQQ which 3x the daily bull or bear market returns of Nasdaq's 100 biggest companies. If you think the market will continue to climb, you buy some TQQQ fund, and you'll be a millionaire in 10 years. TQQQ has gone up 2000% in last 10 years, and if you had bought in when it was introduced in 2010, your return would be 13,000%. Meaning a 1000 dollar investment would be worth 130 000 dollars.

What are you talking abou. That's a lot you factoring in inflation and the NASDAQ declined like 75% in four years and didn't recover til 25 years later.

Microsoft and Apple are like what 20% of the fucking S&P 500 rn.

Yeah ETFs aren't a bad idea but JFL if you think it's gonna carry one. But 'muh diversify' in crypto and stocks are two diff things.

I have some interesting crypto stories jfl

15 years later, true, but that is factoring in that you bought at the very peak of the tech bubble and never invested a dime again. That's not very smart way to go about investing, even if you received a large lump sum inheritance, you should try to dollar cost average it into the market. If you would invest the same sum every month and started at the very top of the tech bubble, you would've recovered not in 15 years, but in 3.
Microsoft and Apple are probably like 20% of the S&P500 rn, but that's because they're literally the most promising companies there for the long term and it's not really far fetched to say their value could be 5x in 20 years.
I don't even know why you would want to go for cryptos anymore, say for select few like bitcoin or if there'll be some strongly anonymous and popular new coin. You were one of the first people to join the crypto market and I get why you're still tempted to chase these past returns, but it's really unlikely you'll find some next big thing as you said yourself since there's like 10 000 of the tokens now instead of 100-200. I remember being into crypto too around 2017, I remember there was a massive bullrun and I wanted to get in, but didn't really find a way since I was underage back then. Then when it dipped in 2018-19, I just didn't really care for it anymore.

Ok, I have a bad habit of dnrd. Get into stocks. All the fun of crypto with less risks and you can have a little breaks too, you don't have to 24/7 check your portfolio since the market is only open like 8 hours a day 5 days a week.
