I got LL, I'm 3 months in the process of recovery. Ask me anything.

I can still do that. I control how much I increase. Nothing stops me from continuing growing as much as I want, I'm the one who does the movement on my leg to make it extend. But I don't wanna obsess over passing a certain number, in real life this won't make much difference, health is a priority. Its important to have restraint.

What do you plan on doing after your recovery? You'll be 24 then, so still some time.

How many scars do you have, where are they?

23 years old. I got it in Germany. It cost me 60k Euro after everything. As soon as I finished college, I used my crypto money to hop on a plane to Europe so I could get this. I went to the Betz Institute.

Original height 164.5cm - 5'5 inches
Desired height 172.5 - 5'8 inches
8cm increase in total or 3.14 inches.

I will also wear lifts on top of it, so I can look even taller. I've been wearing lifts ever since college, but they barely brought me to 5'7. Now I will be 5'8 naturally and the lifts will bring me to 5'10, which will allow me to be seen as an average sized man for the first time in my life.

The method I'm using is an internal nail that allowed me to walk on the first day after surgery. Each day I do a certain movement that increases by height my a tiny amount so I can gradually get taller while maintaining function as I walk around everyday to get around life. I have already increased to 169.63cm. So already over 5cm. I do regular stretches and physical therapy to accompany the treatment. I stayed in the hospital 4 days, stayed 10 days in their clinic hotel and then returned home after just 2 weeks in Germany.

Now it's already been a bit over 3 months since I got the surgery and I feel normal. When outside, climbing stairs or for long distances I will use my crutches. Otherwise, if I'm at home or at a restaurant just walking around to the kitchen, or bathroom I go without crutches, though slowly and with my legs kinda open a bit like a cowboy lol. It's getting better each day. In a couple of months I will finish increasing my height. After that, I will continue physio for some more time and I will quickly go back to walking normally.

A year in the future, I will be able to finally remove the internal nails from my legs, even though by then I'll already be walking normally for months. Once removed, after a swift recovery this time around, I will be able to go back to running at full speed and participating in impact sports.

Any other questions?
Can you post a photo as a proof?

Like 2 years ago I was heavily considering it. Also made a nice chunk in crypto, so could pay for it without much issue. I also had an appointment scheduled at Betz.

Decided not to do it. I am happy you did it and it's working out for you.

How do you look normal in public with both pieces of iron on the ribs of your legs?

Can you post a photo of some sort of proof you went through LL?

also 5'5" but i'm still in teenage years not sure if I am even gonna grow. But i plan on taking the surgery either way if I am under 5'7".
my questions are:
- how did your parents/friends react about this?
- did you have to lie about the fact that you got LL?
