u speak like ai botHey men in miring so hard
Congrats!!!
What happens if you want to get taller tibia and femor together? I’m my specif case that would be ideal
Also what’s your biggest piece of advice for moneymaxx since a very little amount of people can afford this surgery, considering if you’re gonna hard Max you may need other procedures such bimax, implants ecc
Well how big was the height gain,is the recovery as bad as they say or is it alright
How its going
How do you feel now after 2 months now? Is your gait good?
Thanks, I wrote some update text above this postmirin hard, pls update
Thanks!! Yeah either u would need quadlateral surgery then or do two surgeries. But you should check your tibia to femur ratio, as that's most important for biomechanics. You want to be as close to 80% tibia to femur ratio as possible. Dr said to me that tibia takes twice as long to recover from as the femur, which is why I probably won't do the tibias just be happy with the femurs.Hey men in miring so hard

I'm not dead hahaHes fucking dead

How old are you? How did you afford it?+6cm now, i got used to being disabled now lol. I can walk short distance without crutches but my gait is terrible without crutches due to tight hip flexors and it band. It will get better once I stop with the clicking. Probably wake up 4-5 times a night also.
But not so bad since I have weight bearing nail, I can use crutches, walk stairs, go outside, drive car etc(I don't drive tho because I take tilidin). Without fully weight bearing nail I would not do this surgery. But you need help with preparing food, Im not able to do it myself my parents help me with that. You also can't carry heavy things in your arms. I'm very grateful for having them support me.
I currently work from home 5 days per week so it's manageable. My productivity fell, but it's alright since everyone is on vacation. I walk maybe 3000 steps a day, more than that takes a toll on the body, I quickly get tired when walking(it's like u had a workout).
Between 2.5-4 cm it was really bad recovery wise and painful(I used oxy every day). But now I feel better(almost no pain currently except for tightness). Clicking is also easy now. You manage pain via medication and stretching/walking/sleeping, but I would lie if I said it wasn't painful(I cried couple of times when bone almost fused early on, most intense pain I ever had). I also had nerve pain complication in my shins, which some patients get. It's a form of lingering pain that lasted for weeks. But luckily it went away. Some of the others patients I met in germany already stopped before 6 cm (they got tired of it). But as I see it, the pain level you get really depends on the patient, if you have strong bone growth you will experience more pain, or if you get nerve pain, or muscle tightness/spasms etc.
I'm currently clicking at 0.5mm per day, I'm at day 88 after surgery
MirinHello I did the LL surgery 3 days ago in my femurs, feel free to ask any questions. Right now im recovering in the clinic after the surgery
Feels great, this is the best decision I made of my life. It removed all my height neurosis. No other surgery or therapy would fix this. I have 15-34 days left of lengthening depending on if I go for 8 or 9 cm. As long as I can recover well I'm very happy with the outcomeHow does it feel to be 7 cm taller, despite impaired mobility ?
When will you be done with the distraction phase ? If I make no mistake, your surgery took place 3 1/2 months ago.
