I got minoxidil in 2021 when I first realized my temples were slightly receding

I only got it because I freaked out that my Norwood 0/1 hairline went to Norwood 1.5. I barely used it because I hate routines and if I had stopped using it the hair would have been the same as before anyway.

I don’t think my hairline got worse since then, it basically stayed the same.

I‘m still wondering if I can regrow some of the hair that used to be in the temples. I with those needle rollers or other options that exist to stimulate hair growth.

I also wonder if I should start using finasteride to prevent my hair from receding any further but I‘m afraid of the side effects.

Normies couldn’t really tell since I sport a curtain haircut and the recession is not that advanced yet.

I forgot to mention I got the minoxidil in 2021 and never used it beyond that year and it expired 2022.

You need to use it consistently throughout the lengthened vellus hair period of the new hairs or else you will see zero gains.

I know. I just can't be bothered to apply it everyday and I read it will age skin. If I stopped using it the hair would be gone eventually again anyway.

use it consistently for 6-12 months and it will last. the only reason it would fall out long term is if you're suffering from balding and haven't treated it with finasteride

I don't wanna take finasteride.

Ok dont ascend then you faillure
As if finasteride is gonna decide that. Lol

I still have like 99% of my hair follicles.

I don’t want to experience the side effects from finasteride and it‘s not gonna make a big difference anyway.

Ascending seems like a cope anyway. Getting an attractive girlfriend who didn’t sleep around with a bunch of guys seems impossible. Especially the older you get. And even if you manage to date a „decent“ girl she will probably dump you because she‘ll get bored of you sooner or later or she‘ll monkey branch or have high demands and just be a pain in the ass.
