I'm probably gonna work 15 to 20 hours a week and don't wanna have some money so I can spend and do cool shit but I'm probably only gonna work here for a year before I go from community college to university how do I put my money away and invest it so I can have a lot of money in the future

firstly get yourself a hyra and put 1/4 of what you'll make, another 2/4 into an emergency fund till you have just enough to survive for few months then start putting in something chill like s&p 500 (even if it'll be nothing it'll grow decently in a year or so) and the last keep 1/4 for your shit or to make more money with little side hustles or equipment for handyman occasional jobs etc
