i got prescribed adapalene insted of tret because its apparently better and newer generation? i read abt it and it really does sound like its better but i wanna know peoples opinions on it and what worked for them. (best way to use it)

I've used it , its much lighter than tret and less 'riskier' , with tret you can possibly also shed your skin coz of it being too dry but with adapalene there's no risk for skin shedding , the best way to use adapalene is by the sandwich method , the same method by which you apply tret , moisturiser, adapalene and then moisturiser
