i got prescribed “clindamycin” and “benzoyl peroxide” along with tretinoin

i asked for tretinoin, what are these other 2 things they want me to use and should i use them

If you are asking for Tret because of acne, it makes sense. Though it probably unnecessary.
If you are asking for Tret for collagen/photoaging benefits, it makes no sense.

Benzoyl peroxide is an acne medication which works differently from tretinoin. I really suggest you do not take both of them at the same time because your skin will be a warzone.

Benzoyl at morn and tret at night , benzoyl once every 2 days tret everyday.

make sure you only apply the benzoyl on the spots, not everywhere on your face. Also, HYDRATE YOUR FACE after, or your skin will look shit during the day!
