I got recruited to some shitty pyramid scheme named compass health. I was looking at some job postings and found this insurance shit and it looked very promising. They signed me up to a interview and turns out it was a group interview (#1 sign of either a shitty job or a pyramid scheme) after I pulled up the first thing this nigga says is “majority of you will leave before I finish telling you about the job”. I’m like how bad can this fucking job be Jfl. Even shitty jobs I’ve seen don’t have majority of people leave during interview. I was under the impression the job was still legit. After about 30 minutes of him yapping I still didn’t know what the fuck we were doing in the job (the motherfucker was just yapping about how we are gonna be financiallly free) which is also typical of pyramid schemes they don’t explain that all ur doing is recruiting people and making cold calls and they obfuscate away from what the fuck ur actually doing. He then tells us if we want a consistent paycheck that it isn’t the job for us lmao. Like what niga? He then says that they hold trips every couple months around the world where we basically have some speaker and if ur the top100 performer you get in free but other than that you have to pay hundreds of dollars Jfl (he tried to make it seem high value by saying when you get a sale a percent of the trip gets paid off) like who the fuck is paying $800 to go to some shitty camp where you talk about ur job. Basically it’s a common tactic in pyramid schemes to extract money constantly from their members where they have community meetings and charge them money to attend. Then they said to even join this job there’s a $50 entrance fee just fucking lol and that you don’t even have to sell insurance you can even just recruit members.
least obvious pyramid scheme. I got up and left
