Whole story (no DNRers allowed):

I got accepted to try to be in the military today. I got there and the first thing they wanted me to do was to talk to a psychologist.

We talked for about 40 minutes. After that she told me to wait. After 20 minutes she came back and told be that u didn’t pass.

I asked why, and she said that I didn’t match their social requirements

I started laughing my ass off when I heard this. Keep in mind that I have never had any problems in my social life.

After this she gave me a peace of paper where it said ”mental illness and the support you can get”

She wrote down a number to some youth care center.

I’ve never been this chocked in my life.
Am I really a fucking psychopath?

The Military looks for 4 basic needs for you to join when it comes to your mental. If you do not meet even 1 of them you will be rejected:

1. The basic intelligence to function, I am going to assume yo are above 82 iq though so this probably wasn't why
2. The ability to follow orders, orders as small as "don't call anyone back home for a week" to "do manual labour for 8 hours straight to set up this base"
3. The ability to think for yourself and find solutions when there is no one to give you orders
4. And this is the most important: Stress management.

All of military boot camp is basically designed to figure out if you fit these requirements. They impose strict rules on you to find out if you can follow them, they give you tasks to see if you are above the intelligence required, they give you exercise to figure out if you can actually think for yourself, and the entire thing is made to be as hard as possible to train and benchmark your stress management.

If you were rejected [probably for the best since you'll be exempt from any future draft if war hits your country] it was probably because you did not meet these specifications
