Long story and vent: Being critical and honest I'm a 5'8 mtn, in my country 5'8 is average height and I'm almost always the same as height as everyone else in the room. I also always get treated nicely by girls, they will do me favors I never asked them to, I have been approached in the streets a couple of times and I get a decent amount of compliments, as an mtn I believe this is due to me being very well softmaxxed, I'm lean, have good skin, nice hair, colored eyes and no major recessions. There is a htb in my uni so I was like fuck it let me approach her (we never properly spoke before) and I was super retarded 
I asked if she would like to go out on Friday while never asking for her name or country ofc she said she doesn't know if she will be free, I then asked for her instagram and she said she doesn't have one so I just said ok have a good day and left BUT I later verified with her friends that she actually really doesn't have an insta. Now I'm not going to cope and say this wasn't a rejection because if I was a chad she would have instantly told me "no i dont have insta but you can have my number" or whatever but a part of me believes had I approached in a more NT way and then after she said she doesn't have insta asked for her number I maybee could have gotten it. To cope I posted a few tiktok thirst traps for validation and got a staceylite w 15k followers to follow me, most of my friends say she is better looking than the uni girl but I really only want the uni girl. Is there hope or should I ldar and move on the next. Also I won't reveal my face because I'm legit mtn and know it. It kinda sucks since im softmaxxed so only way for me to ascend further is going to be hardmaxxes
