I got TMJ from chewing gum, what do I do?

It clicks when I chew gum and when I eat, I get headaches after eating and I wake up with headaches alot.

Do I go to the doctor? Or do I need a dentist appointment?

I use regular gum to cope when losing weight.

my jaw used to click when chewing mastic gum, i just ignored it and it went away. Never had much pain but idk about others. Ive chewed it for years. Maybe one day TMJ will bite me in the ass but hasnt so far.

Chew more, if u get TMJ from barley chewing it means u need more forward growth cuz no one actually uses there TMJ join enough to rust it

Happened to me when I went all in on falim gum chewing
So I stopped and it's back to normal

We naturally will chew on one side or harder on one side so it was making my more asymmetric tbh too

thanks god ive been a bit worried cus im a teen (14) and been trying to get chad jawline ( it has worked) but i got clicking in my left jaw from chewing 7 pieces of gum every day
