After thinking on it, my fear of rejection is more a fear of being wrong about an IOI.

I've made moves on foids I had no reason whatsoever to think were into me. With no nervousness whatsoever on my part.

Yet if a foid shows IOIs, the mere thought of making a move on her gives me crippling levels of nervousness. Because I'd feel like an idiot if it turned out I misread her IOI.

My root phobia (my phobia of being wrong about an IOI) all circles back to my self-consciousness regarding my autism.

If I make a move on a foid based on a perceived IOI, only to find out I was wrong about the IOI, I'd blame my autism for why I misread the IOI (and I view my autism as shameful)

To sum it up for you: I don't necessarily fear rejection.

What I fear is finding out I was wrong about a foid's interest level.

???

no, you're wrong and retarded
My OP was pretty short. That's why I said you have a childlike attention span if you thought my OP was too long.

I'm autistic. That's why I'm more prone to misreading a foid's IOIs than the average guy.

i'm autistic too, you're more of afraid of losing them, than you are of misreading them

I've gone up to total stranger foids in public and invited said foid over for sex. A surefire recipe for rejection.

Yet I didn't feel like an idiot when they turned me down. Because there wasn't any IOI in the first place. I only feel like an idiot when I'm wrong about an IOI.

Afraid of losing her?

I'm talking about foids I was never with in the first place.
