Growing up in the suburbs is alienating, you don’t get either the hard skills of growing up rural nor the people skills of growing up urban, it’s the worst of both worlds unless your parents can afford a top tier lifestyle which most can’t. I would’ve picked rural, I would’ve been better off.

One of my cousins grew up in the suburbs and he told me it’s the best experience.

He told me his friend came to his house at 7pm and just took him fishing because a lake was 10 mins away walking.

And every night 20 people would go outside and play hide and seek tag
