I had a chance to live in Germany

My parents lived in Germany for like few years but they didn't stay there because they wanted to take care of my grandma and "liked our city" like dude I have nothing against my grandma but I'd rather live a better life
My country isn't that bad but my parents never had money just enough to survive and sometimes buy shit they like now the situation is much better but because they didn't have money I missed out on a lot of things in life like travel, my friend from Netherlands visited like half of the world and I was going on vacation once a year but almost never outside of the country

I once had a chance to live in Italy (around Naples). My dad applied for a job position and we would have stayed there for about 4-5 years (at that time I was just about to start high school). I would attend high school there and probably try to attend college if I graduated because of the EU diploma.
They chose another guy for the job (he had some kind of connections, wasn't even in the top 5 on the list).
Ended up staying in Bosnia.
