So I went for a nap, and the dream was quite odd because, for some reason, I must have been at some sort of church event, but for some reason I started to walk around looking for food. I don't have a lot of money, so my subconscious knew that. I saw a Subway, weirdly enough, and I was going to go for a Subway, and they also had a sign on the door that said it's like $5 subs, but I don't have a lot of money.
And for some reason I go into this castle where it's being held but I lap around the castle and I can only picture my hometown. For some reason I go onto some sort of cannon and I jump off and I break my leg but also I think that I'm ok. Here's the thing that also got me: because when you hurt yourself you wake up. Well this is the weirdest thing ever. I woke up in the dream
So I was really flipping tired today so even when I tried to wake up, my brain still didn't want me to wake up so I woke up. I was really deep into REM sleep then I woke up in the dream but because I'm still dreaming the drink that I bought, because obviously I was like, "Oh man, I don't have any food but I can buy this lemonade." I bought this lemonade in the shop that I went into
But then when I went to go and buy this lemonade, I woke up and the lemonade was on the table. My legs were okay but in a dream I had thought that I had broken my legs but I'm still dreaming
So it was quite surreal because it's like I still had the drink in the dream that I woke up from but I'm still dreaming and then obviously my immediate thought was to like write a .org thread so obviously this just shows how chronically online I am because I'm quite literally writing threads inside the dream and now that I'm awake I'm writing a thread also so who even knows if I'm actually awake this time?
And then my dad walks into my room, which he typically does to go and wake me up. I tell them, "Dad, look, I've got this lemonade from the dream. It's so, despite that this is a dream, it's still pretty funny and embarrassing." He's like, "Oh that's just not possible." I don't remember buying this and I bought this in the shop in the dream. I literally had the drink there whilst in my room. It's such an out-of-body experience to think about it because I was in my room having REM sleep whilst thinking or seeing my exact room. It's pretty mad how the brain works
