I go to the sauna at least once every week. Today it felt unusually good. The sauna was 100°C hot and ~20% humidity. I was in the sauna for about an hour, taking short breaks outside and I threw about 4 buckets of löyly.

(Löyly is the classic, sharp steam you get when throwing water in the kiuas)
(Kiuas is the sauna stove)

I drank two cans of the classic Finnish alcohol drink called ”lonkero”. Each time I got out of the sauna, I admired myself in the mirror. I looked insanely debloated even though I drank alcohol.

After I got out of the sauna, I felt the most fresh in my life. I also used one 12mg nicotine pouch (haven’t used nicotine in 3 months) and it felt amazing.

I hate when I see Americans on TikTok in the sauna. They don’t know how to use it properly. It needs to be at least 80°C hot and you CAN’T have clothes on. I also recommend being in the sauna for at least 20 minutes at a time. That’s how you get the good experience.

I think this sauna session is in my top 5 of the best feelings I have felt. I recommend sauna for everyone who hasn’t tried it.

Also, a question for other Finns here, how often do you go to the sauna?

True:love:
me too on summer when im in cottage (oon suomalainen ;)) but i found a gym that has a very good sauna for a public place so i abuse that on a daily basis.
The method for best pump is quick gym workout, then 1k swimming and then sauna, that way u achieve the best pump possible

There’s nothing wrong with sauna at under 16. I wonder why that’s a thing.

Dont you have to be naked to go into a sauna in Finland

Yes, nothing wrong with being naked.
Yeah i think Americans ruined my perception of places where you are allowed to be naked but i would be nervous to be naked around people because i have never been naked in public spaces but its normal to be naked in gym shower room and sauna idk why Americans think thats weird lol:lul:

The Uk make all their children grow up to be soft, like I can't even ride a water slide with my little cousin but in a different country its fine. I don't get why but ik for sure that they do.

What I usually do is I take a freezing ass ice bath for a few minutes then do some lifting then hop in a sauna
It feels sooooo good especially when you had caffeine and you just simply sweat it out along with other toxins

In the winter I like to go to the sauna and hop into a ”hole in the ice” on the lake. We do that a lot here.

Do you go to the American kind of sauna or a Finnish one?
