its easy as fuck + you get a temporary boost in muscle size (pump) after each workout. when you lose your pump you wanna get it again because its an obvious difference. also increasing your weight PRs, not wasting gym membership, many things go into it

Most gym strength isn’t practical strength. Jobs that require heavy lifting are often with awkwardly shaped objects or boxes and are about muscle endurance rather than muscle explosivity.

In terms of health all you need is cardio and calisthenics. Weight training is actually bad for joint health
