What are we genuinely supposed to do? Most people my age in my country (mid twenties) live with our parents because of the housing crisis, and now they also just stopped giving us jobs. Ran into a girl from school who did pharmacy (no job), a cousin who god a PHD in biomedicine (no job), another who is a vetinery nurse (no job). People I know who did computer science are completely fucked and they were told it’s their only future. Even in big cities now, trying to get a job as a waitress or a barista is an exhaustive process.
We’re competing with all of India for entry-level jobs, and homes. Even when you get a bloody job and place to live pay is like half your rent and you have to live with legitimately insane people to just have a roof over our head.
And this is what constitutes living…
