I hate clean bulking

I have 1kg baked potatoes in front of me, legit torture to eat it all. I think its just nature telling me to stay in my lane and not larp a endo or mesomorph (me being an ectomorph with 6.4 wrists).

It would be based if muslce building was only based on protein rather then calories *inb4 muh bulking is looksmin*, im eating technically 500 calories over my limit (3300 everyday) yet somehow gained zero weight the previous 2 weeks, another proof my body just burns it super quick and doesn't store it as fat

Just eat more fat instead of that many carbs. 1kg potatoes has like 700 calories maybe?
You could get almost the same amount of calories with just 150g peanut butter for example which goes down a lot easier

But i hate carbs, too filing, wish i could just drink olive oil jfl but thats empty calories, potatoes are a super food when it comes to mineral content, anti nutrient absence and vitamins + complete protein
 
Just eat more fat instead of that many carbs. 1kg potatoes has like 700 calories maybe?
You could get almost the same amount of calories with just 150g peanut butter for example which goes down a lot easier
I explained in post here, basically reason is the potatoes are very healthy, pack of minerals, vitamins and complete plant protein, and the most important bit, almost no anti nutrients.

I know i could just eat fats or less volume carbs like rice, but thats just empty calories

Plain white rice and something fermented

Easily digestible carb source

Yeah legit, i think its cause im eating them pure, its legit torture to eat. Any tips on stuff that i can drizzle on potatoes that make them palatable?

I use either just some quark or tomato sauce

It’s still kinda boring but atleast it makes it easier to swallow it down

if youre struggling then making up the last few hundred calories with junk food is perfectly fine imo so long as your overall diet is balanced and nutrient rich, I just ate a chocoloate bar cos I was 200 cals short for the day and fancied it. Better than not hitting your cals and a nice treat helps you stay consistent and on track mentally
 
You haven't quit smoking bro? I remember threads from you from 2021 where you quitted smoking...it truly is a difficult addiciton to overcome brocel :cry:

So did you quit? How long have you been cigarette free?
Almost 1 year now for cigarettes, but i use snus sometimes. Nicotine addiction is truly unstoppable jfl, but snus is way healthier then cigarettes
