I'm about to graduate high school and my mother is making a humongous deal about it I am not a social person whatsoever I don't have a social life among my peers for some reason she keeps trying to propose the idea of a party? A party for what for me graduating high school like every other citizen? honestly if you didn't graduate high school you are a subhuman. Because all you have to do is show up I get some people are struck by poverty pill and maybe they got to do what they got to do to eat so they can't focus on academics but most niggas it's literally as simple as just showing up. They literally have programs for retarded niggas I know because I'm in the fucking programs I know niggas are going to DNR but fake participation trophies or complimentary praise genuinely piss me off cuz I feel like you're calling me stupid even if you are sincerely happy for me. Dopamine is only received when I feel like I've won regardless on input of others.

My dad didn't even care if I dropped out He's a foreigner they don't really value education like they do in America I'm sure he's happy I accomplished something but it's not very over-the-top achievement like my mom is making it seem.

No I worded it wrong it's not fake praise it's real praise it's just not for anything that's actually worth celebrating My mother is genuinely Happy for me but I don't understand why. I said it was fake because it's something that shouldn't be celebrated. Graduation of any sort of school isn't worthy of celebration. Even Harvard because it's all just genetic determinism when it comes to academics it's basically just saying "congratulations for being born superior" when people celebrate academic achievements.
