So I get that hurting Israel is wrong from a Christian biblical POV it's touching the cornea of gods eye in Bible

At same time I don't mindlessly hate muslims and even have some Muslim family like my sister

I don't like to pretend I hate Jews around Muslims and I dont like to pretend to hate muslims with my Jewish friend

I'll explain to you

For us the Jewish nation is like what the masjid al haram is for you guys

Even if Jews tried to genocide us all we protestant christian believe all of Israel will be saved and all Jews go to heaven and they are still the chosen people

It's just the merit of their ancestors like Isaac Abraham and Jacob not their own merit it has to do with the promises to the patriarchs

Because I love Christ?he saved me deep in my sins thru his free grace.

I am so thankful to him that I am saved regardless of my work that I seek to serve him as the bible says from slaves to sons

That’s interesting. I was speaking from an Islamic point of view, but idk, personally I don’t believe in an afterlife. I think we’re just coping with the fact life is so bleak. An afterlife sounds to good to be true. I know it’s weird coming from me since I identify as Islamic, but it’s just a feeling I can’t shake off.

Brain chemicals. But our brain activity stops a few minutes after death, after that we will enter the same state we were in before: non-consciousness. Permanently. Sounds awful and bleak, right? That’s because it is.

Have you read the spanda karika bhasya by jaidev Singh?he explained in a few stanza that unconscious state cannot logically exist and that consciousness is changeless even though it seems potential

Yeah but then what’s the point of adhering to ıslam if you don’t believe in the afterlife ?

Because Islam is not just a religion; it’s a way of life as well. I believe it leads to a great society if practiced properly. I know I’m contradicting myself, but I do believe God exists. However, I don’t believe an afterlife actually exists.

Well I think you should come to Christ

You'll be unpleasant surprised to go to eternal fire rather than oblivion

No offense I care about you and you only have to believe once without trusting on your own works to go to heaven

I appreciate your kindness. I actually grew up with a Christian parent figure. They were Protestant. And very critical of today’s Christians. Their criticism applies to Islamic communities as well. Lots of hypocrisy, with the biggest hypocrites sitting in the front row of church. That’s what they often told me. They shared many stories with me. They passed away years ago, sadly.

Is this thread real? Jews literally have in their books that Jesus is burning in excrement in hell. Muslims love and consider jesus a prophet and hold him in high regard, it's why jews will get angry when jesus is mentioned and always talk shit while Muslims will never talk bad about Jesus because he was prophet, infact we also think he is the savior. I really don't understand how any real christian can side with the jews over muslims, do you have a brain or what?

I feel like it’s too good to be true. A life after this one where people can live happily ever after? It sounds like something that’s pure copium. But I don’t buy it.

If you thoroughly and extensively research Near death experiences, it becomes illogical to not believe in an afterlife. The "scientific" reasoning of NDEs simply being DMT release is incorrect and has been debunked already. Furthermore there is no scientific explanation for things like this, e.g: A patient undergoing surgery had an out of body experience, they heard the doctors words even though they are unconscious and the doctor is in a completely different room away from the operating theatre, it's simply not possible to know what was said unless the out of body experience is real. Astral projection, etc it's all real. "Science" is a sham, they won't even accept that every human being is encased in an electromagnetic field.

Science aka physics accepts everything is consciousness

You are 100% kafir for saying that. You are basically a cultural Muslim. Actually there is no difference than you and so called ex Muslims. You just want to borrow certain norms, legal codes and values which are part of Islam but ignore the metaphysical foundations. Actually if you did the OPPOSITE and believed in the foundations but ignored the rules and norms that is a MILLION TIMES BETTER!!! You're going against one of the pillars not just ignoring a rule you don't like.

There is no point responding with an essay. Calling me an Islamist. A hypocrite. A takfiri..wahhabi. Idc. You are 100% a kafir even a liberal Muzzie would takfir you.

How can this make sense for Christians when the jews have it written in their holy book that your "god" aka jesus is in hell? do christians not have a functioning brain or what is this?

Unfortunately i have to agree, i don't think @Gengar can call himself Muslim because you can't say you don't believe in an afterlife, it just doesn't work like that.

Kufr confirmed. You could say it's just a state of mind like ibn sina - who is still a kafir. But he didn't deny an afterlife in theory.

Well, I do believe God is real because I don’t believe we just came into existence after some coincidental explosion in the sky. And that we were one-celled and involved into what we are now. There is a Creator, I think this is the logical conclusion for any scientist. Too many variables that come into play, which cannot be brushed off as a mere coincidence. As for prophets, they were sent to spread the word, of the existence of God. However, I just don’t buy the afterlife stuff, even though that’s integral and preached as well. I’m a pessimistic nihilist, so it’s impossible for me to believe in something that sounds so good.
