I still don’t think opting out of the system altogether on an individual level is the solution. Man still needs his tribe. Plus for lots of men this would mean abandoning every dream they have, so it’s unlikely to be anything beyond individual. It’s unfortunate the situation they have us in.

I disagree that it has always been this bad. Sure, our natural mating dynamics always played somewhat of a role, but looking at pre 1970s for example, when we still had religion and the family unit to provide a healthy system of monogamy, even subhumans had a chance.
