i was having this super autistic discussion about how birth rates were collapsing in virtually every developed nation and this filthy normgroid decided to open their mouth and attempted to rebuke my objective, hard backed, rigorous data with a snarky (and unironic, i think, idk im too retarded to decipher whether theyre low iq or trolling), 'but how are birth rates collapsing if there's a pregnant person on this very table and i see people with kids all the time' (we were sitting with a family friend who was pregnant) - as if this was some sort of valid gotcha moment

its like they have a complete inability to conceive of anything outside of their immediate environment and personal experiences
