The (((producers))) wanted to appease the western markets by making the Ottoman females side of the family look european. With this i mean the clothes on them. IRL they were fully covered with Burqas and only men they would see are African and Russian trucel castrated abused dogs (trannies basically)

Also these series spread a huge myth that Hurrem Sultan destroyed the Ottoman Empire from behind. In reality she was a good and charitable women and there are zero sources of her doing anything evil, other then good stuff like the Mosque that she constructed in Mecca
