they like to take the most hyperbolic claims of incels like "if you're not chad it's over" kind of thing without paying due attention to the real principle at play: the majority of your life is determined by your physical appearance. I think they do this as an obscurantizing, stockholm-syndrome-esque mechanism because the authors of such articles (usually ltbs) probably know this is true at an unconscious level but are trying to repress this fact, and their method of repressing it is seeking validation of this viewpoint through the supportive comments they get on their articles, twitter shares etc.
