I tried everything every single thing and my psych says my adhd makes me unable to produce melatonin myself and fucks with my dopamine regulation at night. I hate fucking jewish slop that made me adhd and fucking hearing voices inside of car exhausts wheb they are running .

I have diagnosed ADHD as well but I never had this problem. Your psych is saying some bullshit.

Fucking brutal. When i had insomnia i was fucking tired of every retard tryna say “muh don’t drink coffee” “muh melatonin!1!1!” “Muh sleep hygiene!!!” Or some other normshit opinions you find as generic reddit/youtube advice.

But the truth is, none of that shit helps cure insomnia, heck, trying to do some weird ass complicated routine will undoubtedly make it WORSE, as you’ll be stressing over the act of going to sleep and thus sleep will stress you out preventing you from sleeping, perpetuating the insomniac cycle.

Here’s how i broke out:

One day i just said “fuck it, no sleep makes it harder to gym, harder to study, it’s fucking shit but i can survive it”. Along with this I STOPPED trying to go to bed early. If I didn’t feel like sleeping and it was 10pm i’d watch youtube or whatever shit, and then naturally find myself collapsing.

and i got the best sleep of my life right after staying awake 3 days in a row from a months long insomnia bout. After I knew that the key was to mentally detach yourself from “muh sleep rituals” “muh sleep hygiene” and just stop giving a fuck i started to sleep again, and haven’t had the problem again.

Later when i was researching a cortisol blocker for diet reasons, i discovered “chemix cortiblock with emodin” and from what i hear it helps people sleep if they take a capsule 30mins before bed by actually stopping the formation of cortisol. I haven’t tried it but it could be a good tool to kick start your insomnia recovery.

The key is actually to stop trying. Like quit all the sleep hygiene bullshit. If you can’t sleep and have that “wired but tired” stay awake and watch youtube. Like not even in bed, at your desk. Try to fully stop giving a fuck, think of it like rage quitting a video game.
