You see it fucking everywhere.
This obnoxious idea that there is somehow this direct correlation between how grand a thing somebody achieved and how much effort they had to put into it/how hard they worked.
Like if a writer makes a great book then surely they had to spend 4 hours a day for 3 years straight making sure it was perfect. Or if somebody paints a photo-realistic portrait of themselves then surely they must have practiced painting for hours every day their whole childhood.
It's already sort of admitted by most normies that genetics play an important role in sports, but for just about everything else where cognitive skills matter more than physical ones, everybody seems to contribute it to superior effort.
And it's laughable.
Naturally, the talented bullshitters will play along, because they like the prestige that it grants them to say they worked so hard. But it's all bullshit. Talented writers can probably sit down and write a full length novel in three months if they truly cared to do so. All the while mediocre wannabe ones struggle for years putting out just a single one that is probably mediocre shit at best. Ditto for artists or just basically anybody that is actually good at something.
It's all innate and in the genes. That and personal connections. Hard work is cope and people don't like to hear that.
