do u go to public school? private school? would you say you have good grades/are you smart? do you hang around nerds? etc.

it's all about the people u hang around with and the connections you get, one of my friends got an internship n i asked if i could work with him, he literally just asked his boss and i got an internship for free JFL

but literally the only method is to go in person and ask businesses if they're open to letting you shadow them (watch what they do for a day) and then ask if you can get an internship

you have to be make sure you have a specific field you want to go into tho, you can't just do any internships u want and your resume has to showcase your love for said field, through volunteering, competitions, clubs at ur school, etc

if you're too anti social just search up online internships for high school students and ask AI and just spam your resume everywhere. (but i personally liked doing shit in person it made me feel more professional and it was more fun for me)

you just have to be proactive, my parents also found my other internship for me. so 2 of mine were easy connections

if you can't get any, then it's fine tbf, just do a bunch of volunteering positions until you get some

volunteering >> job at high school imo, there's no need for you to have the desire of money rn
