Yeah it's just he's otherwise a cool guy and pretending to be drunk after one beer is like unforgivable loser shit

However some part of me doesn't think it's really conscious because it's not like he's trying to impress me or anything he just seems to have this weird compulsive behavior to fake it when drinking

I stopped drinking with him due to my health causing me to stop drinking altogether but if I get better and he's still doing that shit I'm just gonna call him out directly and see what happens

I've called him out for it subtlety before but he just denied it and due to my health I just let it go but if I get better I'm gonna press the issue
