I hate preworkouts

I have been using APS mesomorph preworkout (with DMAA its legal in Russia) and at first it was greatly improving strength, endurance, etc with 1 scoop. In a few days I got resistance to its components and I had to take 2 scoops, then 3 scoops. And now I took 4 scoops and shit I feel so bad I couldn't even complete my workout because of extreme vertigo, tremor and hyperventilation. I was really anxious for my life, because I took more than 200 mg DMAA.
How can I avoid so fast increasing tolerance to preworkouts?
