I had a bruudal overbite of Like 12mm at 14 yo and 3-4mm now at 18 almost 19. Well the mandible doesnt grow fucking 8mm+ between These ages so I think my fuckass ortho Just tipped my teeth with elastics and fucked me.
I contacted a maxfac to get a proper CBCT scan along with berger analysis, MC namara and wits apraisal in hopes of showing my compensated skeletal recession for a covered Bimax. (I have early TMJ issues too)
Im praying to Gandy im either recessed enough or atleast have enough maxillary projection to get a out of pocket genioplasty without needing to worry and not a borderline Case - might Rope If that happens tbh.
But yeah never blindly trust your ortho or end up like me
