i get what you mean ahahahahaha think it just depends on the writer for superman, cause most of them either make him low iq brick dumb but a ‘god’, or they make him snap evil, or just erase any flaws entirely. ahahahaha not many people can write him well, to truly understand his character. injustice butchered what people thought superman was, snapping immediately after lois and his supposed baby died. that started the whole ‘evil superman’ trend, which then came homelander, omniman, other more will appear soon eventually. most writers nowadays don’t even get the real moral struggle superman deals with, they just make him flat and boring. there’s this quote i remember from an old superman movie that stook with me: “Dreams save us, dreams lift us and transform us into something. and on my soul, i swear that until my dream of world dignity, honor and justice are the reality we all share, i will never stop fighting, ever.” i really miss that kind of superman, you just don’t see that kind of superman anymore
