I hate talking to people in the 15-18 age range, they are all so optimistic about life and think they are gonna be the next big thing

I mean I can't lie, I was the same. I thought I would be rich by 25 and all it would take was hard work. I used to look in disgust at average people and think "Ha, they must just be lazy". But then you gain some life experience and you discover hard work doesn't mean a damn thing. Much of your success in life is based on things you can't change. Your parents, your socioeconomic status, genetics, your LOOKS, IQ etc. Sadly most of us are average, most of us are not gonna become rich and wealthy. We are gonna live average lives and wageslave until old age. It sucks, but it is what it is.
