I find I'm not able to upload any personal content that's longer than three seconds. I can upload downloaded stuff, but no recordings from my phone. Anybody know why not?

YouTube chooses to re-encode videos uploaded to the site with a much lower bitrate to make the files easier to store and stream which decreases the file size.

I tried that. I uploaded on to WeChat and was able to download and upload it to here again, but it made the footage way too grainy so I just didn't post.
