raffaini did one case where he lengthened the nose but it's very non standard and complex procedure
Absolute word salad nonsense. There is no illusion. The maxilla is the central anchor of the face. It directly influences and holds all the surrounding bones in their position.
If the maxilla is recessed, (in OP's case), the mandible rotates upwards/backwards at rest, the nasal base is widened (giving the face an even more "wide and short" appearance), and the chin to lip ratio appears reduced. These things all in turn make everything below the midface look shorter, even if the mandible is of normal size and growth. The human eye judges facial perception by relative proportions (how all the bones in the face fit together), not by the actual lengths of these bones.
e.g. imagine a three story building with first and third floors of normal height, but an unusually short second floor. If the second floor is unusually short, the other floors and overall building will look short as a result (even if they're of normal height), because the reference height in the middle floor is reduced.
The visual proportions change because the maxilla is slap bang in the middle of the face, and sets the spacing of all the other surrounding tissue.
Moreover, OP seems to have a well-developed mandible. His lower jawline is strong and doesn't look recessed. It's just camouflaged by his short maxilla.
