I have been up for 30 hours now

I can't. Not yet. I am taking a shower soon, and then uh.. finishing this TV show, and then uhh maybe listen to some music before deciding to go to sleep. You should sleep as well, by the way. It's pretty dang late for you.
yeah it's 22:30

to each their own, but i can promise amphetamines are different, I've seen people who "cant get high" and "taken a bunch of shit and never felt it" get sat on their ass in about 15 minutes :lul:
Haha I'm not tempted. I don't like drugs.

How do you feel during the day?
Since my uni started, Im feeling fucked despite sleeping for ~6-7 hours
Especially when it comes to gym after my uni or job
I don't feel a difference right now, but sometimes I feel very sociable and just become talkative.

Yo should i sleep tonight? I lowk have hella incomplete work and i do have holidays but im actually kinda fucked but the weekend test doesnt matter. I have some tasks i gotta complete tho or else i’ll lag but i think i might be able to cover it all up with an all nighter during the weekend so should i sleep now? What do you think is better? Ive got to be up by 7am and well on saturday i can pull an all nighter to complete the remaining tasks. Is it okay to sacrifice sleep one-two days in a row?

6, 7 hours of sleep is great. I guess it's the mental fatigue that makes you feel that way, or the dread you feel when you wake up, knowing you've got all these assignments and examinations waiting for you. Could that be it?

Do not sacrifice your sleep. Even one hour of sleep is better than no sleep at all. You are doing a lot of damage to yourself by not sleeping. There is a reason that every organism needs to sleep. Go to sleep, and wake up on time to do those necessary exercises or assignments.

i think your pretty neat
Thank you! I appreciate that. I meant more the way I am. My idea of hanging out is going to a friend's place and watch a show together or just talk about current issues and life in general.

As long as you're getting sleep everyday, even if it's just a few hours, it's all right.

On Tuesday, I finally slept after 40 hours. On Thursday, I have yet to go to bed after staying up for 30 hours. I am not using any stimulants, not even drinking coffee. I told myself on Tuesday I would never sacrifice my sleep again, only to do it again the next day. Fuck my life.

Pretty sure I already have alzheimers. I don't remember a lot, so people often accuse me of lying. I just forget things easily.
That sucks

Nice side affect

Im not sure man. Sometimes it's not even a hard day, like my job is not that hard mostly and uni is easy for the first month. Sometimes I just falling asleep during lessons.
In the gym I just don't have enough motivation as I had before

I think it can be fucked dopamine receptors

Yeah, you will be alright, for sure. Wish I could have gotten a bit of sleep like that. And well, it wasn't on purpose. Couldn't sleep physically, and I had promised to accompany an elderly family friend to an appointment. And then I decided to just wait until midnight to go to sleep since otherwise if I go to bed at 2pm, I will wake up at 9pm for example, and not sleep anytime soon. And I have to get up at like 3pm to go somewhere, and then I just wouldn't be able to sleep on time. Plus this way, I reset my sleeping schedule anyway. Those were my reasons.

It's a nice side effect but I also come off as weird, probably. And I see, I thought maybe that's why you felt that way. I was probably just projecting my own mindset onto you.

Someone mentioned it in my other thread, but I haven't. Polyphasic sleep probably means multiple rounds of sleep, right? I can't pull that off. Even my DNA suggests I don't take naps, so I think there is a genetic factor as well. And thanks for the nice words.

Yea its that your sleep operates in 1h30m cycles so you sleep for around that much time and you complete a cycle of sleep. So you don’t wake up groggy with lesser sleep. Sad if you’re genetically cooked to not be able to sleep like that. I hope you sleep

Nah, it's not that deep i think

Maybe, sometimes I understand this feeling, but rn I don't have a lot of assignments etc

When I have a lot of shit to do, I can be angry asf, but I'm more like tired
