I have decided to rule out jaw implants with my jaw surgery

I am getting lefort + genio + mandible shaving for better contour to create direct line from gonian to chin (reduces downward grown look and adds angularity)
I also wanted jaw implants for additional width on the gonian but now that my mandible has been untucked thanks to orthodontics my inter-gonian width appears wider that it did months ago
As things stand I still believe more width to the gonians would give me a higher sex appeal look (currently zygos gonian ratio is 0.87) but if I was to get the implants I may sell myself short with the design because there could be an unpredictable element to the mandible shaving which I feel needs later correction
Just by having the mandible shaving itself it may make my jaw appear wider than it does now from removing triangle chin creating illusion of more width

I had this concern initially but I'll also be having the chin moved forward so I will lose some bone but also gain some bone

Have you ever posted pictures of what you are talking about? You could cut the images in half and blur your eyes. Maybe?
