Free will is a comforting illusion we cling to, like a security blanket in the cold, deterministic universe. Every choice we think we make is nothing more than a pre-programmed reaction to the intricate web of our biology, environment, and past experiences. Your "decisions" are dictated by firing neurons and chemical interactions, all governed by natural laws you have no control over. Even the urge to rebel against this notion is just another programmed response—a futile echo of genetic predisposition and societal conditioning. In truth, you're no more free than a puppet, except your strings are invisible, and the puppeteer is the indifferent machinery of cause and effect.

Yeah some people free will is being able to just move your hand around or pick up an object
Right, our actions are caused by our desires. To some that's free will.

But our desires are caused by our biology, evolution, cultural programming, and our experiences. Sometimes even virus's, both memetic and parasitic virus such as Toxoplasmosis effect our desires such as our desire for risk vs safety. And then memetic viruses in the form of cultural memes effect our values, weather we want to go off and be a celibate monk, or sleep with a bunch of women, or start a family.

Even our gut microbiome, which is put there by the foods we eat effects our brains and our choices.
