All my male friends have always had my back ever since I was a kid.
Since I was little, I was always invited to birthday parties, and when mine came around, people actually showed up. I remember my mom baking a cake and seeing everyone enjoy it with me I’d think, “I’m really lucky to have friends like this…” even at 5 years old and onward.
As I grew up, I stayed close with my childhood friends they were always around, always supportive, and genuinely wanted me in their lives. In high school, I got to know more guys who treated me with respect, included me, and actually looked out for me.
Because of that, I’ve always had meaningful friendships. I’ve been fortunate enough to experience what it’s like to have a real buddy someone close who I can count on. It’s been a good feeling, knowing I’ve never had to go through life completely alone.
