I drank 5 bottle of alcohol in one sitting in like 3-4 hours, chugging it like glasses of water. (was alcoholic already)

Ended up passing out on the ground and cutting my hand open. Next day I was like: okay fuck were not doing this anymore. No alcohol today, get real.
but turns out my body is already fucked so now I have insane withdrawals. One of the worst things ive ever felt and still feel.

need something else against anxiety. i cant live with this anxiety i have in my life and always try to escape

you have to quit alcohol, you say youve been drinking hard for 5 years and the longer you went off was 6 weeks, it might take a lot longer than 6 weeks for your brain to somewhat heal and using other drugs might further complicate this

yeah im forced to drink, my psychiatrist, GP and psychologist are involved. I have to cut gradually or I can get seizures.

i quit alcohol now entirely and they put me on valium(diazepam) for withdrawals.

monday i will hear results of blood-work and what organ-damage I possible sustained. I likely have some form of permanent-brain damage too now.

but idk, my brain was already destroyed anyways by childhood abuse so it's probably not too bad in that context.
my destroyed brain goes to slightly more destroyed brain. okay

3.5 months
but I was drinking very heavily

The lasts months of my life have been total hell for me and my alcohol consumption went up and up to kinda insane levels. I think I would drink 3 bottles of wine and several bottles of beers 6 days of the week, and like 2 bottles on the 7th day so I wouldnt be noticeable drunk at work that day.
So it was like 140+ units of alcohol per week. I then quit cold-turkey after a ~50 unit binge on friday, telling myself its getting crazy and I need to stop, so i drank nothing. didnt know about alcohol withdrawals. Then next day it felt like I was going to die.

50 units if like 7 bottles of wine all in an evening jfl. Only real lions can survive this.

I got some valium(diazepam) prescribed, managed to get me out of withdrawals without needing to drink alcohol.

Not touching alcohol again for a few months to let my brain reset.
