As I have talked about before I have a spending problem and blow money like Mayweather on thr most pointless shit ever

One of friend's recommend to use the Goodbudget app to keep track and it has been working out well.

Some tips that I can give you that are effective are

-Disable contactless/NFC tap-to-pay on phones and watches. Only cash .

-Avoid use credit card like the plague. Do all your transactions in hard cash and even if you do carry one put a hard limit of only the emergency amount.

-Everyweek all the money gets auto debited into my dad's account who keeps it safe with him. Every time I need I call him and ask him like a teenager for money and give him an explanation which makes me more accountable.

All this has helped me save a lot of money.

Cash spending only did cut down a lot of my expenses. However, staying on a low budget itself did a lot more in my case since I have to walk on a tightrope and keep a lid on leaky expenditure

I would usually just withdraw the money from an ATM at the University and like stash in my dorm room

Then I would like basically never use it since I'm too lazy to walk to any restaurant and like I can't spend it on random stuff online

I use to get insane dopamine kicks from spending money when I was younger. Iโ€™m at the point now where I find basically everything so useless and unimportant that I just donโ€™t even spend my money anymore.

Hopefully I get this kind of maturity as I get older too

i dont have a spending problem, I always live very frugally and don't buy anything.

I do have a gambling problem though. Like every single dollar I save goes towards gambling :Comfy:
