When the seasons change, Summer > Winter / Winter > Summer (Warm > Cold vice versa) the humidity changes and your nasal mucous membranes usually dry out. This makes the blood vessels more vulnerable and makes it easier for them to snap. Especially if you for example sneeze or pick your nose.
Use nasal spray or vaseline.

I had the same problem as a child.
Now I only have it once or twice when the seasons change (usually under the shower) .

had a shit ton of nose bleeds when I was like 5-11 (yes ik not same age range) i drank more water and it kinda went away. my family doctor also recommended me this random gel to stick up my nose. just telling you this in case (which I doubt) this is the same thing
